This February, the Open Source world will once again meet in the nice city of Brussels, Belgium. In the past 7 years many people have met, at the free and open conference to talk about the developments in this area of software development. At the first big Open Source conference in 2009, the Joomla project will present the latest developments and information about the project. Together, with a really high profile list of other open source projects, we have a booth in the exhibition area. On Saturday and Sunday, a team from the European Community will be at the booth to answer your questions.

It's already a tradition, that on the second Saturday of October the Hungarian Joomla! users come together on their Joomla!Day, or Joomla!Nap in Hungarian. This year it will take place on October 10, from 10.00 am CET to 5.00 pm CET in Hungary, organized by Joomla! User Association Hungary (JUAH). The last year venue worked well, so we decided to return to CEU Conference Center, Budapest.

There are many times when one can't help but be impressed by the Joomla! spirit. On September 29-30, 2009, the great people in the Mongolian Joomla! community will be celebrating their Joomla! pride with their first annual Joomla!Day Mongolia. One of the most impressive announcements forthcoming at this Joomla!Day: the showcase of the more than 200 Mongolian government Web sites that have switched successfully to Joomla! Nearly every Mongolian federal government Web site is now running Joomla!

With a huge accomplishment like this, it's time to celebrate!

After two years of hard work, the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of Mongolia, the Information, Communication Technology and Post Authority, and USAID’s Economic Policy Reform and Competitiveness Project are pleased to present their success at Joomla!Day Mongolia.

Together with the Virtuemart team, we have put together an interesting range of workshops and presentations. The three days have different headlines:

Thursday, 24th Sept.: Virtuemart Day
