The team over at TechJoomla have started a new Joomla community initiative on Twitter called #how2joomla. Although the name is the same, this initiative is not affiliated with HowToJoomla.net in any way. We think this is a great idea, and we wanted to bring it to everyone's attention. Google will start soon with indexing the maps and markers, see: googlegeodevelopers. You now can set with the Google Maps Plugin if you want your maps and marker indexed by Google (version >= 2.12m).
You can set it default in the configuration of the plugin or as a parameter: googleindexing.
