JURI::getQuery() Returns PHP Error

Calling JURI::getQuery() results in the following error: Fatal error: Call to undefined method JDocumentRendererModule::buildQuery() in /var/www/bbgbiz/libraries/joomla/environment/uri.php on line 449 This error has been present since at least 1.5.14.

Differencies in escaping in beez overrides

When applying $this->escape to my overrides, I noticed some differences in the beez com_content files. article/default.php frontpage/default_item.php category/blog_item.php section/blog_item.php *1 Line 14, $this->item->readmore_link is escaped in section/blog_item.php, not escaped in the other ones. *2 Line 81, the first $this->item->created_by_alias is escaped in category/blog_item.php, not escaped in the other ones. *3 Line 81, the second $this->item->created_by_alias and $this->item->author is not escaped in frontpage/default_item.php, is escaped in the other ones. *4 Line 97, $this->item->urls is not escaped in category/blog_item.php, is escaped in the other ones. *5 Line 110, $this->item->readmore_link is not escaped anywhere, but see the first point, where it is escaped in the title readmore link in section/blog_item.php. There might be more, but these ones are the ones I can find. If I knew which ones should be escaped or not, I could create a patch.

'description' element of RSS feed is not UTF-8 compatible

'description' element of RSS may have problems with none-latin chars. Hard to test, but ALL htmlspecialchars() functions required UTF-8 compatibility and Joomla always used compatibility for this function. This code is new since 1.5.15 and should be also compatible. Patch is attached.

Front-end version of com_content "edit" task fails to preserve escaped entities

Problem Description: HTML entities in body of article content get UNESCAPED when opening article for editing from the front end. So the content gets corrupted if it's revised and saved. In the admin article-editing form, Joomla provides JFilterOutput::objectHTMLSafe() for re-escaping HTML entities before populating them into the editing textarea's value, so that when the original content is unescaped by the textarea, it winds up back to the original, deliberately single-escaped state, which can then be edited and saved without corruption. This is missing from the front end article-editing form. Extended, detailed problem description can be found as follows. **Disabled components still show in the "menu type" tree of com_menus

Disabling a component does not prevent its "menu link type" from showing up in the "menu item type tree" when creating or modifying menu items. Fixed the issue by modifying administrator/components/com_menus/helpers/helper.php In the function getComponentList (line 52), added a " AND enabled=1" to the condition list in the query to prevent taking into account disabled components.

image in com_contact

Hi all, sorry for the english, i've found a bug in com_contact: the image, previously selected in the menu for the contact (category view), doesn't show the image selected. Incorrect bracketing in templates/system/component.php

I've found that the detection of rtl language in templates/system/component.php is missing some brackets on line 28. As a result it's loading the rtl template if the tested files are missing, regardless of the result of the $this->direction test. This was introduced in the 1.5.15 release. I've attached a patched file which works correctly.

Password Verify renders 500 page when javascript is disabled

function bind (\libraries\joomla\user\user.php) renders error 500 page when password2 (verify) is different from password, whereas it should display a error message (red banner) the way it does with e.g. an empty username or wrong email address. When javascript is turned off the validation for password2 doesn't seem to work correctly. It should display the error correctly when the user-agent has javascript disabled, so they can adjust it instead of having to browse back from the error 500 page to the registration form. Line 391 seems to be doing this validation.

Editor - TinyMCE 2.0 unable to show videos in front-end & filter the code unusally

What i did: I tired to embed a video from youtube ..or any file from scribd etc. What happened: When i saved that i got blank screen over the place of that video. What should have happened : the article should be saved corrected & tiny editor should not filter the code & video must be shown on it's supposed to be place in article. Other information: I was logged in as super administrator, i was using the template from yootheme.. Most of the plugin were enabled at that time. What happen after disabling the editor: when i disabled the tiny editor then things start working the way i want!

Wrong homepage url in non-default language in mod_mainmenu, when using SEF

Hi When using Joomfish for multi-language sites, the "Home" link made by mod_mainmenu is always default language. This happens with joomla built-in sef or other SEF solutions. For instance, English being default and German being another language: - Home link is : www.example.com in both English and German - Home link should be : www.example.com in English and www.example.com/de in German The reason for that is because mod_mainmenu forces the use of JURI::base() as the home link, regardless of the language. The following change fixes the issue. In /modules/mod_mainmenu/helper.php, around line 350: replace : $tmp->url = JURI::base(); with : $tmp->url = JRoute::_('index.php'); JRoute takes care of adding the proper language suffix as needed. Contact advance parameters Web URL parameter missing

Hello... As all of you can see through the attached files, although there is an option to hide or show Web URL field on contact parameters (contact parameters.JPG), there is no Web URL parameter on advanced contact parameters (contact advanced parameters.JPG) so we can choose the desired icon. So, the final result is as the attached file (contact web url no icon.JPG) where only Web URL field have no icon because it is not possible to select it due to the missing Web URL parameter in contact advanced parameters. PHP Mail error on windows server

Hello: On Godaddy's windows server, the PHP mail function does not work. It seems to be a problem related to the CreateHeader and CreateBody functions. I found that when I add the following lines to the MailSend function in phpmailer.php library file, then mail function works OK. function MailSend($header, $body) { $headers="Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\r\n"; $headers="Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7-bit\r\n"; $body = $this->Body; So I overwrite the $body with #this-Body and add the basic header information to $header. Of course this is not completely generic but it was a quickfix that I found for the simplest case of sending mail. May be someone who knows more can diagnose this problem and create a more complete solution. Cheers, Arvind

Jimport does not work after requiring WURFL class.

I was need to create a plugin to switch templates according to mobile user agent. I solved to use WURFL for this (i used it on old project about 6 months ago). So I download this into Joomla directory, create a dummy system plugin copy&paste&edit the lines loading WURFL class and what i saw after: Fatal error in libraries/joomla/factory.php or in libraries/joomla/application/router.php. The error right after WURFL library requires by function require_once(). The the place where error appears differs when i tried to vary the function name in plugin onAfterRoute() or onAfterDispatch(). PS. can't write in forum. I have lost password but the forum neither lets me remind this nor create a new account.

top menu (NAV) ja-purity rtl problem

Hello. if you set one menu with "hornav" position and ja-purity template,top menu is float left. in rtl languages must was float right file attached.

Hello for rtl languages. administrator -> main menu > new > Articles > Article Layout > Select Article in ie7 ,not possible for select article ( Button issue) problem is in float button. Attached.

cache setting in mod_title not changable

The 'title' module (mod_title) delivered with Joomla, has a caching parameter with default setting to 'never-cache'. This parameter can not be changed to 'enable-cache'. This parameter should be removed from the mod_title.xml since it never used in the module code.

Can't turn off mainmenu-module caching

I've disabled caching from all of my Mainmenu-modules and when I turn cache on from Global Configuration all the Mainmenu-modules are cached. There's nothing I can do to prevent Mainmenu-modules caching. This means for example that I can't use cache on any of my multilingual sites, or any other in that matter, because caching always scrambles the menus.
